Understanding the Terms and Conditions

Use of this Web Site is subject to these Terms of Use.

The owner and operator of this site is Karen Paiyo.

Prices, offers and stock availability may vary between www.karenpaiyo.com and other outlets owned and operated by Karen Paiyo.

All Prices are in Australian Dollars. Where a title is dispatched from Australia its price (including any applicable delivery and order charge) is inclusive of Australian GST (Goods and Services Tax). Where a title is dispatched from outside Australia its price (including any applicable delivery and order charge) is exclusive of Australian GST.

Please ensure the delivery address and receiver's name for your order is accurate and complete (including any business name if shipping to a work address) as we are unable to change any details once the order has been placed. Karen Paiyo will not take responsibility for any orders that go missing due to incorrect delivery information provided by you.

We will not under any circumstances make deliveries to P.O. Boxes, public houses, or other addresses of a dubious nature. You must provide a valid and verifiable residential address at the time of ordering.

You must notify us within 6 weeks of dispatch date as recorded in your account if you have not received an item. After this time no refund will be issued for any missing orders.

Unless otherwise stated, all vouchers have a 30 day expiry from date of issue.

The information contained in this site may contain technical inaccuracies, typographical or bibliographical errors. All liability of Karen Paiyo.com howsoever arising for inaccuracies or errors is expressly excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Karen Paiyo is a retailer that trades utilising the Internet through this website, and in outlets around Australia. Karen Paiyo is committed to protecting the personal privacy of our customers, and observes the National Privacy Principles pursuant to the Commonwealth Privacy Act 1988.

Karen Paiyo:

Refund Policy

Know Your Refund Rights

Karen Paiyo will refund or exchange goods, provided they are in re-saleable condition and you have your original proof of purchase from Karen Paiyo Online. Faulty, mis-bound, or shipped in error items may be returned for refund or exchange with proof of purchase.

DVDs and other items shipped sealed or shrink-wrapped must be returned in original sealed / shrink-wrapped condition if you are requesting a change-of-mind exchange or refund.

Please also note that publishers may sometimes alter a book's cover or change the described contents. In such cases, if you are unhappy with the book supplied please return it together with a copy of your invoice and we will issue a full refund.

Online purchases may be returned to Karen Paiyo Online.

The cost of returning any product to Karen Paiyo Online is your responsibility. In the event we have made a mistake, the item is not as described, or the product is mis-bound or faulty we will refund reasonable return freight costs. Freight charges are not refunded where an item is returned for a change-of-mind refund or exchange.

We will make every effort to process items returned to Karen Paiyo Online within 3 business days of receipt at our Online office. Please note any credit to your card account may not appear on your credit card statement until a future billing cycle, depending upon your card issuer's procedures.
