Saluting Our Entrepreneurial Women

The 8th March each year marks International Womans Day, a celebration of the rights of women everywhere.

This year, we would like to take this opportunity, to acknowledge and honour the achievements of all our enterprising women.

Australia boasts almost 2 million small business operators, 32% of them women. Approximately 40% of these women work full-time, while the remaining 60% worked on their business on a part-time basis.

This is an indication of the trend that many mothers are starting small business ventures in an attempt to work around their children and family, while still generating an income for their family.
